![]() ![]() This is rampant throughout the "Interpret" feature. There are a few things wrong with this 1) it's not Truscott (Jordan), it's Smolen, 2) Jordan is an impossible bid here, the opponents never doubled, and 3) my partner never bid 2NT. e.g., here it is suggesting that the bid is Truscott 2NT. It gives bad explanations of bids when you choose the "Interpret" option. If I want to be able to play 3-4 hands I want to do it against an AI, rather than rolling the die on a BBO table. I've played a lot in clubs, but enjoy the opportunity to play rubber scoring on the app. ![]() ![]() There are several systems that are common (SAYC, 2/1, Precision) and some that are less common (Acol, Forum D, La Majeure, Std Amer with Strong 2s). This helped me understand where I went wrong and what bids were appropriate in what situation. When I learned 2/1 and Precision I used Bridge Baron to bid a lot of hands. If you didn't get there in bidding or if you went down then you can replay and see where you went off. With duplicate scoring you can see that the AI would have bid and made 3NT. I'd like to give an overview of pros / cons on the Bridge Baron Android App. I'm an intermediate player that mostly plays 2/1 on BBO or in a local club. I learned to play bridge 4 years ago (Bridge for Dummies) and bought Bridge Baron shortly thereafter. ![]()
